Having an introduction is really important, because it is one of your unique selling propositions (USP's) and it helps establish a positioning in the other person's mind. So even if the other person doesn't need your product, they may come across one of their friends who may be overweight and then your name will pop up.
The more "romaticized" you make your introduction, the better.
The next step is attitude and character. We all have the ability to act, but it all depends on character. However, may of us freeze or get tense the moment we walk into a room full of strangers.
