I was being interviewed by a new psychiatrist the other day and she was questioning me why I had no compulsion to work, nor interest in money and why I would only want to work in a Christian organisation on a voluntary basis.

It's quite alright for me to be talking to Jesus and to God, but wanting to stay on the government disability pension and dedicate my time to studying and sharing the gospel with people at www.ezinearticles.com is simply not enough for her.

I have to laugh, at present 1200 people read my articles on www.ezinearticles.com and I consider writing five articles a week as a type of work. It takes much time in the Word of God and much time looking at life to find new material to write on.

It was my dilemma of not being able to serve God full time with my time that drove me to my first depression and it totally sucks the joy out of life going back into the normal nine to five day job way of life again.

I went for a job trial about nine months ago and failed as my hands have a tremor and as I got nervous serving staff in a gas station ( In Australia where I live we call them service stations). I had to quit the job trial as I was not getting any faster on the third day and the time would come where I wouldn't have a person to assist me.

As I left in tears I asked God what went wrong. He replied, "I didn't ask you to get a job."

I live a life that is in total abandon to Christ.

I don't desire much, I don't lust after the things and assets of the world like the world does, I don't try and impress people.

I live a simple life. I have few friends but quite a number of people that have bookmarked my online articles homepage.

I am called to serve God and am called to serve him the way He directs me to serve him.

In the Catholic tradition I might be called a mystic, in the Pentecostal tradition I might be called a prophet, in the traditional church I might be called a loony for saying I am a prophet.

All I can do is take each day as it comes. I am compelled not to serve the lusts of the flesh, not to serve mammon, but to do the bidding of Jesus Christ on earth.

I have a mental illness and demons have been known to manifest in me and I am still in healing for that, but each day I labour for the sake of Christ.

I work to please my Maker, have no designs on owning a house, having another future wife or any more children. I desire if I do work to work in a voluntary position in some sort of ministry and yet my days are becoming full and now that I have over 200 articles its getting to be more of a challenge to come up with more articles.

I am sold out to Jesus Christ. I am not sold out to money. I self published a book called “The Musings of a Mad Prophet” that you can find on a Google search, but this was for my regular readers to get a hold of so they can read some stuff in print rather then over a computer screen.
