Time Management - Making the Most out of a Limited Resource
More than a few dozen times, people say to me, 'I don't know how you fit it all in!' Sometimes even "I" don't know how I fit it all in, to be honest. However, not only did I realize early that if I wanted to accomplish the things in my life 'to do' list, I'd better take control of my time. I have learned that time management is a huge issue with many of my clients. So, to help with this common problem, below are some tips to at least get you started on how to make the most out of your limited resource: Time.Prioritize What do you want to accomplish? Many people I work with have a HUGE list of what they want to do or of opportunities coming their way. It becomes so overwhelming for them that they find themselves doing NOTHING! Now, that defeats the purpose of having such great opportunities at their feet, huh? So, make a list of all the things you would like to do or accomplish, or all the opportunities coming your way, and then prioritize them. For example, which of all the things you listed above is the very most important to you to mak

When we are expressing our voice we feel significant, valuable, and joyful. We seek and find a sense of meaning in our work and in our lives when we are operating at this level. When we are expressing our voice we are in alignment with who we are. I have met many people in organizations who are doing this. They love their jobs; they are passionate about what they do; they love making a contribution; they are constantly learning and growing; and they feel fulfilled doing their work. When you have an organization where everyone has found their voice, you have one great choir--harmonious and magnificent. All Killer - No Filler
I don't know about our readers, but I like my burgers simple: meat, cheese, ketchup and lettuce. That's it. I am not into feta cheese, Guatemalan jalapenos, pastrami or whatever fad is currently setting the hamburger world on fire. When it comes to burgers, the only person's opinion that matters is mine. Thus, I always stick to my guns and order exactly what I want. No matter of persuasion is worth eating food that I don't like.Getting what you want and not being swayed by others should be the rule for all of your purchases. However, the more expensive a purchase or investment becomes, the more others want you to spend your money in their direction. Each day, many of us are bombarded with requests to try the latest product or service, invest in an up and coming company and take the "word" of sales people that their product is the best in its field. Often, we make our spending decisions based on the information that a salesperson has provided us, what we have seen on television or what we have heard about a business from others. I was scammed by a company promising me I can stay at home and type data into forms and make over two hundred dollars a day.There are a lot of scams going on out there, these are just a couple of scams to be on the look out for.Scam #1 You Won The Lottery!This is an e-mail scam from a person or company informing you that you have just won the lottery. Payment is required to get your huge unsolicited lottery winnings transferred into your country/bank account. Dr. Covey presents some disturbing statistics that demonstrate that most of us are not in the choir. He presents the following data collected in a survey of 23 thousand U.S. people employed in organizations.
