    Growth Of The Firms
Let’s discuss several factors that reveal the reasons, motivations of the firms’ growth. The article grew to be more philosophical than managerial.Growth is generally achieved by small firms by making more of its existing products, or by developing more products. Hence, a common obstacle that many small firms face is that they do not have the finance to expand through invention, or developing a new product. Finance is necessary to pay researchers or inventors, to pay for materials and then once the product has been developed, to market it. Another way of achieving growth is being merging with ano
Where’s the Line Between Security and Privacy Issues?

Using spy cameras for secret surveillance is not a surprise anymore. There are many examples, like banks, super markets or parking lots. However, one example of secret surveillance is widely debatable. And that is – employee surveillance.

Sure, the company has to protect its equipment or intellectual property. However, employee, as every civilian of a modern society has to have rights to his or her own privacy.

Let’s look at the popular examples of employee surveillance in restaurants or casinos and decide if monitoring employees is really such a bad and offensive practice.

    Restaurant Business

Restaurants are a savior for those of use who do not have time to have lunch or dinner at home. When we go to a restaurant, we expect everything to be smooth from clean plates to nice service. And of course, we expect to have a tasty meal every time. But can we always be sure that we get exactly what we want?

You probably seen those videos on various television shows where employee surveillance disclose incompetent (and many times psychological problems having) employees who do some really nasty stuff.

For instance, they may sneeze into the plate, spit into your coffee, and do much worse things that you probably wouldn’t want to think about right now.

There may be many reasons for that (excluding quite obvious – mental illness). Some may have a bad day, some may not like a person, some maybe didn’t get enough tips last time, and so on… But these situations should never be tolerated.

Medical Billing - DME Software Overview
In this installment, we are going to be starting a series on DME software for medical billing. This is probably the most popular software on the market because it is responsible for billing more claims than probably any other branch of the medical billing industry.DME stands for Durable Medical Equipment. This is equipment that is either sold or rented to various Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Blue Shield and many private insurance companies including Prudential and Web MD. This equipment ranges from wheelchairs to concentrators. The amount of money involved in this industry is staggering.

How To Beat Competition In Mobile Handset Retail Business
The competition in the handset business in Nigeria, Africa like other countries of the world, is enormous especially in the major cities. Only entrepreneurs who go the extra mile will always make it. Though the market for GSM handsets is very large, most people find it difficult to break even in the business; an idea is what you will need to differentiate yourself from the crowd and competition no matter where you are located. The secret to this success is the Nokia handset retail business- this simply means branding your shop with Nokia and selling of only Nokia phones. The Nokia brand is the sec

Building Powerful Business Relationships That Sky Rocket Your Success
I was reading another chapter in one of my favorite books, The Art Of Possibility. This is one of the best books I’ve ever read on transforming your personal and professional life. On page 55, the authors introduce the practice of, “being in contribution.”One of my clients says contribution is essential to being who she is. She says, “Helping others is part of my life purpose. I need to help at least one person in some way, every day.” For many, being in contribution to others is a core value. Many have defined the value of contribution as meaning, “being in service to others” because they want

    Beef Cattle and Summer Forage
Hot dry summer weather brings about heat and drought stress on summer annuals. Stressed plants such as the forage sorghums can occasionally accumulate dangerous concentrations of nitrates. These high nitrate plants, either standing in the field, or fed as hay, can cause abortion in pregnant cattle, or death if consumed in great enough quantities. Nitrates do not dissipate from suncured hay (in contrast to prussic acid), therefore once the hay is cut the nitrate levels remain constant. Therefore, producers should test summer annual hay fields before they cut them for hay. Stop by any County Extension off

So how can we be sure that we eat a clean and tasty food? Well, secret employee surveillance helps us this time. Maybe no one would ever knew that such things happen, if no spy cameras were installed to monitor employees during their work day. In this case, employee surveillance at least, gives us some hope that such employees will think twice before doing something nasty.

    Casino Business

Casino business is probably the largest industry for employee surveillance. Almost every casino in Las Vegas has some kind of security camera or hires specialized companies to spy on their employees and clients.

Without secret (well, many already know about security cameras in casinos) surveillance, a casino would lose millions of dollars in the long run. So employing a company to monitor gamblers or employees is much more financially beneficial, because casinos can save a lot of money.

Again, without closely monitoring their employees and clients, it would be impossible to discover and have a proof that someone is stealing the money or cheating over the table.

    Intellectual Property

Another example of employee surveillance is various IT companies who track if employees don’t abuse their email systems or leak valuable information outside the company itself.

You probably know how much employees love to abuse a company’s network. They download movi
