How many of you have heard, like I did when I was first started out, 'Man, you get into private practice and it is so hard, and it is so much competition, and you'll never make it'? We've all heard that one.

There are many, many people, and some of yomay believe this, 'There are just too many people in my niche; there is just too many folks for me to make it.' OK, that's part of what the mindset is not.

The other part of the mindset, interestingly enough, another part that it is not, is that in order to play large, you do not have to be famous, you do not have to be well known in your niche, in the relationship, you do not have to be a John Gray, or a John Gottman, or any of those folks, OK?

It's not becoming a name, becoming well known, or a celebrity or something.

So those are the three things that it's not: It's not limited thinking, it's not believing that there are too many people in your niche, it's not believing that you have to become a big name, it is just a mindset game, it is all about willingness.

Willingness to play large can be considered, perhaps, a question that you've never considered before. You don't need to be born a certain way, in a certain place, with a certain name, to play large.

Instead of the traditional one-to-one, one-to-one, one-to-one, day after day, take a one-to-many approach and how many folks can we reach with our message. That is part of playing large, being able to reach more and more people. And who knows, maybe somebody may become the next most known person.

But you don't have to do that in order to play large. So we talked about what the mindset is not, we talked about what the mindset is. The next step is how to install the mindset.

    Career - Job Comparison
I decided to hypothetically put two people seeking professional careers, one a prospective college student, the other a truck driving school candidate, up against each other in a comparison of job training, annual salary, debt accumulation, and investment capability, while comparing time frames to similar objectives. Assuming we start this time frame with the st

Getting Your Kid Off The Payroll
Do you have a recent college graduate who is unemployed, or if they are employed, dislikes and maybe even hates their first job? Well, don't feel bad, because by all estimates, at least half of all recent graduates are either unemployed or underemployed (working a job that doesn't use either their education or their ambition). It's difficult deciding who shoul

OK, how to install the mindset, I want you to begin how to ask this question, during the day, first thing when you get up in the morning, and when you are going to be at night. OK here is the question. In how many ways can I begin to think larger about myself, my practice, my message, and my ideal client? I'll giv you a couple seconds to write this down and I'll say it again. In how many ways can I begin to think larger about myself, my practice, my message, and my ideal client? And I dare say that's a question you have not asked yourself that question before. And that's a question formed specifically with specific purposes.

Because it's not can I begin to play large, it's not what's one way to begin to play large or think about playing large, but it's about in how many ways can I begin to think about playing large in looking at myself, my practice, my message, and my ideal client differently. So I want you to begin to change your mindset about this because most of us are taught to play small, to think small, and what we wantyou to do is turn that on it head, and begin to ask yourself some pretty large questions if you stop to think about it.
