    Paralysis By Analysis
Every day we get emails and telephone calls from people who want to get started in Real Estate. We hear, I am just checking out your program. Or, I’ve been researching for the past six months to try and find a program. While researching and checking out programs is an important step, so many of these individuals never follow through to the next step, which is getting started and moving forward. Making a decision on starting a business or a program to help you start a business is the next step people. Otherwise all you have is “Paralysis by Analysis”. You can look and dither back and forth, with all the questions: “Will it work for me?; How long will it take? How many calls, letters, emails, (fill in the blank) will I have to send or sell before I start making money? The questions go on and on. Eventually you will come to one that can’t be answered and that will be your  reason for not proceeding.  Oh, I can’t do it if I can’t have (fill in the blank). The one question I love is: “Can you guarantee I will succeed?” NO! I CAN’T, ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE THAT. In all honesty, if you ask that question, you probably never will. You will never move forward to make a decision, hence the “paralysis by analysis”. You will keep spinning your wheels in one fashion or another an

    Business Culture in China
Chinese business culture and etiquette The Chinese business practice is vastly different from the Western method that most of us may be used to. Of course, with the Chinese economy opening up, China's joining of WTO and the Olympics in 2008, many Chinese business practice are now beginning to align with more conventional methods. However, China will always have their own unique business culture and etiquette, given their unique history and background."I was recently involved in a business meeting that went sour and threatened to scuttle a good deal. What happened was that the Chinese party recieving the American purchaser was late in reaching his hotel. The American was furious as he had a tight schedule and that they were late and threatened to withdraw his purchase. The Chinese party was late because they were given a vague address of a lake-side hotel. You see, what happened was that the American gave his hotel as Lakeside hotel. Unfortunately, there were numerous hotels along the lake but the Chinese were too shy to enquire which lakeside hotel earlier because they were afraid the American would 'lose face' for having given a vague address. Instead, they spent the morning hopping from one lakeside hotel to another looking for this American gentl

    Queen Bee Syndrome!
Fess up! Tell the truth!!! You’re a Queen Bee!!!Okay.. maybe not all of the time.. but some of the times! Think about where you DOMINATE. Where do you rule the roost? Where are you most confident? Where can someone NOT trip you up!!!???What? You’re a man? Okay.. you can call yourself A BULL for all I care.. but you’re still a QUEEN BEE!!!I think it’s cute.. but it’s also important to know WHO is the QUEEN BEE WHERE!!!I think of myself as a Queen Bee! Many places I go, I tend to be noticed. I gravitate towards the people who manage or run the show. I will meet them if I want or need to. I’m not always compelled to, but I do like knowing WHO is the QUEEN BEE wherever I go.. just in case I NEED to know! So I realize that even though I’m the QUEEN BEE in MY world.. wherever I go, there are OTHER QUEEN BEES that I have to get to know!Think about it. If you are in a grocery store like I was recently and your birthday cake that you ordered and that you were to pick up at 3:00 was never made, would you sit and argue with the baker or would you go to the management of the store? I said to the cake decorator, “I’m sure there has been some mess up.. Let me go get some help”. The manager quickly got the right person to decorate a cake and it was ready for

Why Companies Perform Random Drug Testing
Perhaps the most controversial of all drug screenings is the random drug test. Employers have the legal authority to request a random drug test, whether they have a reasonable suspicion or not. Many companies have implemented a policy of completely random drug testing. This practice can be likened to that of a lottery. If your name is selected then it is your turn for random drug testing; the employee may have little or no advance warning in these cases.Employers often exercise their rights to administer random drug testing as a way to determine whether or not an employee is a drug user; drug use in the workplace is often blamed for absenteeism, health problems and on-the-job accidents. Although many companies already require pre-employment drug screenings, many claim that random drug testing is more effective at finding the drug users in their workforce. With a pre-employment drug screening, the employee often has at least a few hours of advance warning and therefore can attempt to take measures to “cheat” on the test. Many products are available to help users pass drug screenings; from synthetic urine to agents that mask the appearance of a particular drug, various methods exist for drug abusers to beat the tests. Most of the random drug testing takes place in set

Why You Need a Translation Service
Getting a translation done can be a serious business. Maybe not if you are only having a brief email translated, but definitely so if you are dealing with business documents, reports of anything that will be printed. Many people however approach translation too lightly believing it is an easy, quick and straightforward process. This is far from the truth.Translation is a complex affair and needs to be approached sensibly in order to avoid poor results. Before starting a project that involves translation, consider the following common thoughts people have about translation services. Do you think the same?I know a foreign language, I can be a translatorThis is perhaps the most common misconception about translation. Being able to read, speak and write a foreign language does not give anyone licence to undertake translation work. Firstly, a translator needs to have a proper, in-depth and fluent understanding of at least two languages: a foreign language and a mother tongue language. Secondly, translating is a skill. You must be able to write well and have an excellent command of linguistic nuances. Thirdly, language is all the more complex due to cultural influences. If the culture behind the language which is being translated is not appreciated, an accu

Online Commodities Trading - Is It Right For You?
Are you interested in trying your hand at futures trading? Futures trading involves the trading of commodities for a future date. If you are interested in futures trading, you may be wondering whether you should use the assistance of a commodity trading broker or do your own commodities trading online. While a large number of futures traders choose online commodities trading, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is right for you.Online commodities trading is when a trader, just like you, decides that they are able to handle their own trading and portfolio. Often times, a commodities broker is only contacted to help setup an online account, after that online commodities trading traders are often on their own. For that reason, only those who know what they are doing, concerning futures trading, are advised to use online commodities trading. Until you are able to fully understand futures trading and the market, it may be best to use the assistance and guidance of a professional, like a commodities trading broker. One of the many reasons why online commodities trading is so popular is because it is significantly cheaper, in most cases, than using the services of a commodities trading broker. As previously stated, a broker can assist you with setting up your online
